“The remedy was made from the focussed light of the planet Venus”
Edit: Click here to view a completely rewritten version of this post that I recorded for a podcast guest report.
Yep. You read right. Get a telescope. Find Venus. Point the eyepiece at a glass of water.
So, the photons that took thousands of years to get out of the Sun, then bounced off Venus to get into the telescope eyepiece can then be used to cure an acute case was of “post-operative exhaustion and spaced outness” and a chronic case of “inertia and unfocussed thinking”
It must be noted that the remedy cannot, I repeat CANNOT, be used cure symptoms caused by exposure to the light of Venus. All those people suffering from light of Venus exposure will have to find something else. Damn you Venus!
Tantalizingly the article mentions a remedy created from light emitted by the star Polaris. Can’t wait to find out what that cures.
This must be a spoof. Surely. Please?
